Built-in is an integrated system that proposes a single entity within space. The table includes the chairs and the chairs include the table: no longer separate elements, but complementary parts of a solid presence.
Made using waterjet cutting technology, each marble slab is transformed into a self-supporting frame that integrates two independent seats, designed to maximize the working surface and minimize material waste. Each module is conceived to be placed alongside the next and to support the tabletop, forming a potentially expandable system in which the construction logic determines the geometry and the final composition.
The project considers marble as a resource to be used responsibly and enhances the texture of Naghelflu in the most honest way possible, allowing the rhythm and variation of the slabs to define the object’s identity.
