Twergi marks a new chapter in Alessi’s journey, which, starting in 1989, rediscovered the Battista Piazza company, founded in 1865 in Loreglia, in the Strona Valley. The goal was to revive the region’s traditional craftsmanship by reintroducing select pieces from the company’s historical catalogs alongside new, original designs. Crafted from alder wood using a lathe, this object is part of the Design Collection at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
